fun fun fun!

Today I had another lesson! I rode Ger Bear (as i call him.) for cristmas i got some new carheart pants so i wore them today! gerry was great as always i rode for an hour and a half and worked on alot of different things! above is a pic of me in the carhearts with my lil ger bear! My nana also moved her horse Rio over to the barn that gerry is at so that we can ride together! so we are going for a trail ride tomorrow. aside from horses i went and saw hairspray the musical last night and it was great and tomorrow i get to go see the lion king. i wonder if i actually have any followers. if i do let me know by commenting! have a great rest of your holiday!

OMG I AM SOOO HAPPY!!!!!!!

Today I had a GREAT lesson. I rode Gerry today ( i just found out thats how his name is actually spelled)!
Anyway, we are OFFICIALLY leasing him! i am so excited to lease my gerr-bear! he was great today! we did an obstacle corse that Dee Dee set up for me! anyway I had a great day today... even though i am coming down with a cold :(... i will talk to you guys later! <3

weird lesson.

today i had another lesson with dee-dee. i rode a horse named Dan. i didnt like him all that much. he was very difficult and didnt get me very well. i really loved his hieght about 14.5 hands i think. and i also like his canter. his trot was very hard to post to and unsittable as well. so yeah talk to you l8r! <3333

chilly lesson today!!

     Today was very windy.  I went to dee dee's and I rode Jerry again. Today he was a hot mess! He was very anxious becouse of the cold weather and the wind. To calm him down I had to bring hima around the rind and have him go in circles at each corner! i have a problem with keeping my lower legs underneath me and off of the horses body Does anyone have any suggestions?! i always end up having to go into two point then back down to three and i wont be able to do that in shows! so i need to get rid of that habit.

the poll is now closed! 3 people said that their favorite was a quarter horse. 1 said arabian and 1 said clydsdale. personally i have a hard time coosing but i do have to say that i am in love with clydsdales and i also loveeee morgans however i have never rode either and i have ridden quarter horses before.

Today i has a lesson with dee-dee! I cantered in two point and i practiced swiching diagonals! It was sooo cool! I really had alot of fun!!! Above is a pic that my mom took of me on jerry who I rode again this week!!!YAY!!!

explanation of my riding!

Rode today!!! Okay so let me explain what i do when i go riding. One of two things. I either go with my nana out to the barn that she bordes her horse at. When i do that we ussually go trail riding or i practice in the ring at her barn. When we go there i ride a horse that the ownwer of the farm owns named Princess. I have been riding her for a while and i really love her. She is a quarter horse. My nanas horse is the horse in my picture her name is Rio. She is a thoroughbred. Or if i dont go with my nana i am going to my lesson. My horse back-riding teachers name is Dee-Dee she is really cool and knows a-lot about horses! She has been teaching me for a little less than a year now. When i go to her i ride different horses. last year i would either ride a quarter horse named Betty or a paint named Hollywood. last time i rode a beautiful horse named Jerry. He is an amazing thoroughbred that is 17 hands tall!!! So today i rode on Princes. She loves to jump but she has arthritis and isn't aloud to. Today we went on a trail ride and troted and canterd the whole time. Then we went to the ring and went over some cavaletties! We had alot of fun! I also got really nice new slacks! Tomorrow i have a lesson! I hope i ride jerry! (I'll fill you in tomorrow!)

Jerry!!

so last week i rode a horse named jerry! he is awsome!!! he is an ex-racehorse only one year off the track and is already amazing and listens soooo well. he is very nice and easy going but he is 17 hands tall!!!!
i will upload o pic of him at some point!!! <3

hey guys so yeah i am starting a blog. i have been riding horses my entire life but never like in lessons or anything. so today i am starting a blog writing about all of my adventures with riding (and some other things like whatever).  i am gunna write all of my journey as a rider!
